The university’s sports facilities are the basis for the practical education in all sport science study programmes. Due to their proximity to the lake, they are among the most scenic sports facilities in Germany. Furthermore, the lake and nearby mountains provide students access to a unique variety of outdoor sports activities that are part of the study programmes. Swimming courses take place at the Bodensee-Therme Konstanz (public indoor pool). The map and pictures provide a first impression of our infrastructure and scenic surroundings.
There are several laboratories for experimental research. The laboratories are also used for teaching and are therefore an integral part of the study programme. A special highlight is the Studierendenlabor (student laboratory), which is used for practical teaching of experimental methods in sport science.
