Sport Psychology: Research Grant on the Self-Regulation of Endurance Performance

Chair of Sport Psychology receives funding from the German Federal Institute of Sport Science.

In this research project, Maik Bieleke, (with the Chair of Social Psychology and Motivation), Raphael Bertschinger (with the Chair of Training and Movement Science) and Chair of Sport Psychology Member Wanja Wolff will investigate how tailored if-then plans affect psychological, neuronal and physiological markers of endurance performance in non-elite and elite cyclists.

This project reflects our interest in the self-regulation of human performance and more specifically in how self-regulation strategies can be used to improve sports performance (click here to learn more).
