Sport Psychology: Congress of the German Society of Sport Science

Members of the chair of Sport Psychology presented their research at the 23rd congress of the German Society of Sport Science (Deutsche Vereinigung für Sportwissenschaft) in Munich, Germany.

From the 13th to the 15th of September, the congress of the German Society of Sport Science (Deutsche Vereinigung für Sportwissenschaft) took place in Munich, Germany. Under the main theme of Innovation & Technology in Sports (click here for the congress website) national and international researchers met at the University of Technology of Munich (TUM) to discuss current topics in sport science.

Zsuzsanna Zimanyi  presented research she conducts together with Julia Schüler on the role of social support on motivation in stressful situations (Title of her poster: The effects of social support in stressful situations – Does the affiliation motive act as a moderator?).

Arvid Kuritz presented some results of his dissertation on Activity behavior in all-day schools: Physical activity of primary school children in all-day schools (Title of his poster: More activity by all-day schools?! – Mehr Aktivität durch Ganztagschulen?!).

Both posters were entered into the competition for the best poster award. Arvid Kuritz won the award in the category „ Inclusion/Movement, game and sport in the context of education and health “. Well done Arvid! The whole team congratulates you!
